Puketāpapa, Mt Roskill
Te Māra (the garden), a collection of inspiring architectural homes coming to Mt Roskill, designed to nurture life and enhance happiness.
Mount Roskill has a long history of bringing communities together, once a māra kai (food garden), the warm tradition of building and fostering close knit neighbourhoods will enhance and strengthen under the new Roskill South project. Led by Kāinga Ora and one of the biggest regeneration projects within Tāmaki Makaurau it will provide quality homes, upgraded roading, pedestrian links, parkland and public transport to support a growing urban-fringe community.
Te Māra is a new project from Whare Tupu, a partnership of Avant Group and Te Ākitai Waiohua. This relationship began in 2015 with the aim of creating neighbourhoods that are not only ‘liveable’ but designed to nurture life and enhance happiness. Whare Tupu creates neighbourhoods that tell the stories of their place and are designed for harmonious living and community connection, each project playing a part in growing a better future for Auckland.
We hope you visit Te Māra. Climb the summit of Puketāpapa (Mt Roskill) and take in the view across the Auckland isthmus. Imagine living here, sharing a new home with the people you love, walking the streets and making connections with neighbours on the same journey as you.
Plant a seed and grow your future with Te Māra.
